About The Position

Hitachi Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. was established in 2000 and supplies aluminum knuckles to Honda and Subaru. We are located in Rock Spring, GA, and operate on 3 shifts with 400 employees. We have three main manufacturing departments, Casting, Machining, and Press Assembly. This management position is responsible for managing, directing, planning of the operating processes to produce quality products for use in automotive or power sport vehicles in ONE of the following Departments: Brake Components - Various other assembly operations. Aluminum Products Knuckle Casting, Knuckle Machining and Knuckle Assembly operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct, and plan operating processes to produce quality products.
• Promote a safety-first attitude and ensure a safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain clean working conditions.
• Ensure in-process and final products meet customer and NBG quality specifications.
• Achieve planned production quantities for timely delivery to customers.
• Resolve issues in a timely manner and promote teamwork.
• Prepare and report on department/area budget items and annual business plan.
