About The Position

As an Engineering Manager II within SDLC, you'll lead a group of talented engineers focused on building tools, systems, and processes that empower developers to deliver high-quality software faster and more reliably. You'll own key parts of the software development lifecycle-driving improvements in CI/CD, build infrastructure, testing frameworks, or release automation. Your mission is to create an exceptional engineering experience that scales with our growing organization, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Experienced working on and leading internal platforms and/or developer productivity & developer experience organizations
  • You have experience with monorepos, CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
  • You have experience working with one or more of the following languages: Java, Go, Python, or Rust.
  • A strong people manager, able to attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent
  • You're comfortable managing geographically distributed teams (across the Americas & Europe), and you have experience managing other managers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Bazel is strongly preferred.
  • Excited and engaged about defining the future SDLC powered by Gen AI advancement

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, strategy, and technical direction for a part of the SDLC organization in partnership with staff engineers and cross-team leaders relying on our internal platforms
  • Coach and develop senior engineers and managers, fostering a culture of high performance, inclusion, and psychological safety
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and technical quality, ensuring operational excellence and system reliability
  • Participate in hiring and organizational planning for future growth
