About The Position
As our Air & Water Quality Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of environmental stewardship, guiding a dedicated team of about 15 people. In this role, you will provide supervision, leadership, support, and administration for the Air and Water Quality programs. These programs are engaged in technical permit reviews, compliance inspections, environmental monitoring, and enforcement of regulations as cited in the Sarasota County Code of Ordinances and Chapter 403, Florida Statutes (F.S.), the 'Florida Air and Water Pollution Control Act,' including Professional Engineering duties for technical reviews in accordance with Chapter 471 (F.S.).
