About The Position
State Fund has an opening for an Assistant Underwriting Manager. The primary functions are to manage a team of Underwriters and Support Staff in fulfilling State Fund's purpose of providing fairly priced workers' compensation insurance to Middle Market account customers. This position will report to the Pasadena location (L.A. Region). Under the direct supervision of the Regional Underwriting Manager, the incumbent will manage the underwriting function of a Regional Office to achieve Budget Plan objectives in compliance with corporate and regulatory advisories, guidelines and procedures and through the effective use of available resources.
