About The Position

This position is located at the Hemet Field Office in Hemet. Under general direction of the Office Manager in a Grade III field office, plans, assigns, directs, and reviews the work of DMV employees performing vehicle registration, driver licensing, and related work. Makes decisions on office problems ranging in difficulty level from average to the more complex issues requiring interpretation of the law and departmental policy. Ensures staff follow office procedures, expectations, and processing laws. Estimates volume, timing, and nature of future office workloads. Plans and schedules the work of employees. Selects, trains, and monitors employees and evaluates their performance. The Hemet Field Office is seeking an enthusiastic individual who is organized, highly motivated, flexible, adapts to a fast-paced environment, committed to quality customer service, works with all levels of management and support staff, and represents themselves in a professional ethical manner.

Requirements

  • Valid California Drivers License (CDL).
  • Background Investigation clearance prior to hire.
  • Eligibility for appointment (must take and pass examination).
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
