About The Position

The Manager - HVAC Technical Service Advisors is responsible for overseeing and managing the HVAC Technical Service Advisors team. This includes ensuring compliance with safety standards, managing customer relationships, and ensuring we are meeting company and industry standards. The manager will lead a team of associates, provide training and support, and drive customer satisfaction through timely and effective service delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as an HVAC Field Service Representative/Technical Service Advisor.
  • EPA certified.
  • Possess a proven ability to diagnose and resolve HVAC issues, including application, installation and service of electrical, mechanical and refrigeration problems.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and manage a team of associates, ensuring they provide exceptional service to customers.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries, technical issues, and project updates.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as a 'working manager' by assisting with service calls to support the volume received by the Technical Service Advisors.
  • Oversee the daily operations of HVAC service calls, ensuring that all scheduled work is completed within budget and timeline.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for technicians during complex HVAC service issues.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources and materials to minimize costs while maintaining high service standards.
  • Ensure that all field service operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in the field service.
