About The Position

The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for implementing HR policies and programs, managing employee relations and development, and collaborating with business leaders to align priorities with corporate objectives and legal requirements. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing workplace relationships, improving morale, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of progressive responsibility in human resources.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, and compensation practices.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, manages, and administers various human resources programs, such as recruiting, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and performance management.
  • Assists with researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
  • Implements HR policies and programs as required by the business needs of the Company.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Participates in the creation of organizational and employee development programs.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, conducting effective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by being responsive and attentive to requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
