Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or similar field.
  • 4+ years of communications experience in a corporate environment.
  • Experience editing website content in Site core or similar CMS.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing successful, proactive and creative communications campaigns.
  • Communications planning, superior business writing and editing skills.
  • Proven ability to create integrated communications plans.
  • Agility, adaptability, and ability to manage up.
  • Able to collaborate effectively & efficiently in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, meticulous and well-organized.
  • Forward-thinking, diligent and creative.
  • Comfortable with deploying emails through an enterprise email platform.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

  • Knowledge of marketing/communications trends-technology, approach and psychology of communications.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create relatable, clear communications that bring company priorities to life for employees.
  • Partner with senior leaders and other business partners to build and drive communications strategies.
  • Lead one direct report focused on Talent Management, Corporate Compliance and Recognition communications.
  • Plan, build and lead the creation of relevant content across multi-media channels including email, intranet, display screens and print materials.
  • Develop key messages, leader talking points, targeted emails, United Daily articles, videos, FAQs, and HelpHub articles.
  • Contribute to strategy development and lead the creation and implementation of enterprise communications plans.
  • Provide communications counsel, partnership, and tactical support for key subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
  • Collect and analyze data around the effectiveness of communication plans and strategies.
