Job Description: The Manager HR Business Partners leads a team of HR professionals who act as strategic partners to our business leaders, HR Centers of Expertise and other stakeholders to develop, implement, and support solutions in alignment with the organization's People strategies. This position is remotely, but must be willing to travel as needed 2-3x per year to various Intermountain sites. The following states are currently paused for sourcing new candidates or for new relocation requests from current caregivers: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington The Manager HR Business Partners: Leads performance, development and results of a team of skilled HR Business Partners who work across all operating states/lines of business to leverage HR expertise and business acumen. Provides subject matter expertise and technical guidance to HRBPs for managing complex employee relations investigations, compensation projects, workforce planning or other business partnering cases, balancing the need for organizational consistency with unique business line or location needs. Coaches and influences HRBPs and leaders to drive continuous improvement in team engagement and culture in order to maximize business and clinical outcomes as well as improving quality of care. Leverages analytical tools and resources to tell powerful business stories and provide integrated, data-informed recommendations in support of organizational strategies. Prioritizes and allocates case work and project assignments to balance workloads and maximize productivity. Additionally, the Manager HR Business Partners plans for the HRBP resources necessary for projects and initiatives, both within HR and across the organization. The manager supports HR leadership in establishing departmental strategies and adapting departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges, with a focus on driving service quality, efficiency and outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Progressive Human Resources experience in a role leveraging HR practices to drive successful business results. Demonstrated experience in an HR position with substantial responsibility for coaching, advising and influencing business leaders on a wide range of HR concerns that cross multiple domains of HR knowledge, including employee relations, development and compensation (for example, HR Manager or HR Business Partner.) Expertise in applying knowledge of multi-state labor laws and associated practices, and the ability to independently guide other HR professionals in complex employee relations investigations. Critical thinking skills and ability to use tools across a variety of platforms to analyze data and provide informed HR recommendations; at a minimum this must include the ability to create pivot tables and charts in Excel. Ability to autonomously manage a large workload while leading a remote-based team serving a complex, matrixed organization with frequent ambiguity. Superb communication skills, insatiable curiosity and drive to learn, and a focus on understanding the needs of the organization and delivering results. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in human resources or business field. Experience in a complex, matrixed, multi-state environment.
