What you get to do: The HRIS Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the company’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role manages the HRIS team, overseeing system administration, configuration, security, data integrity, and HRIS reporting. The HRIS Manager partners closely with cross-functional teams including Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, IT, and Internal Audit to translate business requirements into streamlined processes and systems, ensure data accuracy and security, and support ongoing system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 4–6 years of HRIS experience, including system implementation and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and data privacy practices.
  • Experience with Workday, ADP Enterprise, or similar HR systems strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in training, documentation, and support for end-users.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain data confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of people management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Workday, ADP Enterprise, or similar HR systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s HRIS system (e.g., Workday, ADP), ensuring data accuracy, system functionality, and process efficiency.
  • Lead the implementation of new HRIS modules, features, and integrations.
  • Translate HR and business needs into system configurations, enhancements, and workflow improvements.
  • Generate and execute test scenarios to validate system changes and upgrades.
  • Monitor and audit system workflows for accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Manage system security, including access control, security group setup, and business process security.
  • Conduct regular audits for SOX compliance and system integrity.
  • Partner with Internal Audit and Payroll to support audits and ensure data governance practices are in place.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for end-users and super users.
  • Serve as liaison with IT to resolve integration issues and maintain user account access.
  • Support unemployment claim processing and employment verifications through systems like The Work Number.
  • Maintain data integrity by running regular audits and exception reports.
  • Provide data analysis and insights to HR leadership and business partners.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of accurate reports for regulatory and strategic purposes.
