About The Position

The Manager, HRIS at San Manuel Band of Mission Indians is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance, data accuracy, project execution, and enhancement of the HR technology infrastructure, specifically the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. This role involves leading a skilled HRIS technology team and collaborating with stakeholders across HR functions and business units to drive operational improvements and cultivate an efficient workplace.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Management Information Systems.
• Minimum eight (8) years of Human Resources experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience leading HR or HRIS teams.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive Workday HCM system management experience.
• Knowledgeable in all functional human resources disciplines.

• Experience implementing systems, designing processes, and project managing.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of the Workday HCM platform and other HR technology platforms.
• Plans and manages HRIS projects and roadmaps, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Works closely with HR leaders and subject matter experts to align system configurations with organizational objectives.
• Conducts system and process change readiness reviews to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Administers HRIS vendors, contracts, budgets, and plans resources based on needs and objectives.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
