About The Position

Immediately addresses service breakdowns and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Keeps team well informed of property promotions and events. Develops highly skilled, successful employees, sets realistic and measurable service standards and holds employees accountable for meeting them. Clearly communicates and enforces company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, department goals and business strategy. Addresses employee performance issues, coaches for improvement and provides ongoing feedback. Uses EOS data to improve the workplace, listens and responds to employees, recognizes and rewards individual and team performance. Consistently follows company policies, procedures and industry regulations, maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records, and completes performance reviews timely. Takes personal responsibility for creating an atmosphere of luck. Responsible for the training and evaluation of Housekeeping Supervisors. Assists in the planning, staffing and organization of work in the Housekeeping department. Administers policies and procedures. Ensures fair treatment in accordance with union contract/company and departmental policies. Conducts inspections of hotel rooms. Responsible for all activities pertaining to the assigned shift. Ensures proper procedures are utilized to correct any potential guest issues, coordinating with appropriate departments. A security escort is required should these persons perform these functions in a restricted casino area.

Requirements

  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate, both verbally and in writing
  • Two (2) years prior experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Bachelor's degree with major curriculum in hospitality or equivalent experience required
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment and procedures
  • Strong organizational, communication and supervisory skills
