About The Position

The Manager of Hospitality Events at High West is responsible for leading the events team, coordinating and selling events, and collaborating with various departments to create exceptional experiences that reflect the High West brand. This role is crucial in achieving the company's mission and vision by delivering unforgettable events and ensuring financial success through effective management and strategic partnerships.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years management experience.
• Minimum 4 years hospitality experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and event management software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines and demonstrate follow-through.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build a high-performing event team by designing a supportive team structure and assisting team members in achieving their objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular meetings and training sessions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events.
• Work closely with Constellation Brands partners to enhance hospitality experiences.
• Create and enhance seasonal programs to attract visitors and boost revenue.
• Cultivate relationships with key event sales partners, including local destination management companies and hotels.
• Refine existing processes for efficient event management.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams as needed to support event operations.
• Lead the events team to achieve departmental financial goals and support the company's financial objectives.
• Collaborate with the Director of Hospitality to manage the annual operating plan.
• Establish budgets for events and provide detailed Profit & Loss statements post-event.
• Monitor Food & Beverage minimums and maintain market awareness.
