About The Position

Position Purpose: A Manager, Home Sale Policy plays a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the transition of associates moving from one geographic location to another—whether domestically or internationally. They are responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the move is as smooth, stress-free, and efficient as possible, serving as both guide and advocate for associates throughout the process. The role requires a blend of project management, communication, cultural sensitivity, and logistical expertise.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • Georgia real estate broker’s license or real estate salesperson license required
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years in relocation services or real estate.
  • Proven experience engaging with senior executives.
  • Outstanding time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
  • High level confidentiality and sensitivity in handling documents, contracts, and client information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work empathetically with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Sensitivity to cultural differences and willingness to learn about new environments.
  • Proactive, creative and resourceful approach to addressing challenges and anticipating needs before they arise.
  • Comfort with digital tools, relocation management software, and standard office applications.
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration and Communication - Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams throughout the organization to ensure associates are provided with appropriate relocation benefits. Address and resolve any issues that arise during the relocation process, such as shipment delays, housing complications, or administrative hurdles.
  • Documentation and Analysis - Prepare a comprehensive budget for each relocation, with regular updates throughout the process. Documenting all aspects of the move in relocation tracking system.
  • Relocation Coordination Management - Guide relocating associates through the process of selling their current homes, referring to network brokers and overseeing the marketing of the home. Collect all applicable referral fees from network-affiliated brokers. Assess break lease and new property closing costs to ensure adherence to company policy. Meet with associates to understand their specific relocation needs, preferences, and challenges. Gather information regarding destination, family requirements, and any unique circumstances. Refer associate to BCD Travel for all relocation travel. Liaise with third party relocation management company, real estate brokers, van lines, temporary housing, and other vendors to ensure all aspects of the relocation are covered. Identifying appropriate accommodations and managing the coordination of short-term housing arrangements. Refer the associate to a network-affiliated broker who can provide support in identifying suitable housing options in the new location.
