Under the supervision of the Sr Manager of HCS Network Operations Analytics, the Manager, Network Operations Analytics (IC) will directly support network operations teams to solve complex problems using large datasets and provide valuable insights and recommendations based on statistical analysis. This position requires strong interpersonal abilities, excellent analytical skills, and strong SQL skills for data extraction or process automation. You'll partner with cross functional teams (Network Operations, Capacity Management, Technology, Product and Operations) in order to complete your projects. In this role, you will be working with provider capacity, strategic planning, operation process optimization and forecasting projects. This team has high visibility across the organization, so great communication skills are required.

  • Directly support key network operations teams to provide insights into both retrospective and prospective performance
  • Independently summarize insights from analysis, identify next steps and develop implementation plans in conjunction with network operations teams
  • Convey analytical findings through compelling, executive ready presentations
  • Lead presentation of findings to multiple levels of network operations team leaders and management in a clear and concise manner
  • Write complex SQL codes to extract data from large databases for analysis and predictive modeling
  • Use historical and concurrent diagnostic, operational, and utilization data to provide insights into operational improvement
  • Develop ad hoc analysis, dashboards, and visualizations to help non-technical consumers easily understand data correlations
  • Evaluate performance and make modifications to existing models for accuracy improvement
  • Apply statistical analysis to provide deep insights and recommendations for operational process enhancements
  • Lead development with enablement teams to automate the most valuable and replicable of dashboards and visualizations
  • Assist other departments as needed
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline (Statistics, Math, Computer Science or a related discipline)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, data science or analytics role
  • 5+ years of experience manipulating data in Excel / Google Sheets
  • 5+ years of experience in writing SQL queries with strong understanding of databases and ETL processes
  • 3+ years of relevant experience supporting non-technical teams, including report, presentation, and messaging preparation
  • 1 -2 years experience in running meetings and presenting analytics to technical and non-technical audiences preferred
  • Experience in preparing queries and report templates for dashboard and visualization creation in PowerBI or equivalent reporting tools
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot quickly as priorities change
  • Able to own lifecycle of project from intake, development, QA and presentation of results
  • Must be able to travel 10% or less to Dallas office location for team meetings
  • 1-2 years of experience with healthcare data and/or operational measurement preferred
  • Past healthcare experience or an understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial offerings
  • Past experience with call center operations and analytics preferred
  • Strong analytical skills combined with proficiency in understanding, representing, and communicating data-driven analysis to various departments by taking data and telling a story
  • Solid understanding of statistical techniques such as regression, predictive modeling, forecasting, time series analysis, and clustering and applying those to answer business needs
