About The Position

The Health Center Manager at Cano Health is a pivotal role that combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the health center. This position works closely with the Medical Director to oversee various aspects of the practice, including clinical quality, customer satisfaction, staff satisfaction, and financial performance. The manager is accountable for meeting practice profitability and revenue goals while ensuring that the highest standards of care are delivered to patients. This role requires a proactive approach to leadership, as the manager will be responsible for directing internal operations, creating benchmarks, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the practice. In addition to operational oversight, the Health Center Manager will play a key role in staff management, including hiring, training, and evaluating personnel. The manager will work collaboratively with practice supervisors and the Regional Director to ensure that the staff is well-equipped to meet the needs of the patients and the practice. This includes addressing personnel issues and fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration among staff members. The manager will also be responsible for monitoring practice trends and developing action plans based on statistical reports to drive continuous improvement in patient care and staff performance. Compliance and quality assurance are critical components of this role. The Health Center Manager will regularly review practice risk assessments and ensure compliance with federal, state, and safety regulations. They will also be responsible for maintaining patient and staff safety standards and ensuring that the practice adheres to HIPAA guidelines. The manager will support clinical leadership in developing plans to improve quality and patient safety, as well as implement effective marketing programs to attract new patients. Overall, the Health Center Manager is expected to create a positive and productive work environment that aligns with Cano Health's mission and values, while also ensuring that the practice meets its operational and financial goals.
