About The Position
The Manager of Federal Affairs will work with the Senior Vice President and Directors of Federal Affairs to help build and maintain relationships with federal government officials in order to advocate for AEP's policy interests by monitoring legislation, working with company SMEs, preparing briefing and advocacy materials, and communicating the company's stance on relevant issues. The manager will also attend events associated with AEP's Political Action Committee (PAC) and must be familiar with Federal Election Commission regulations. The manager will be responsible for developing briefing materials for senior executives.
