About The Position

Vaco Boston has partnered with our client to help fill a Temp to Perm Global Trade Compliance Manager role. Experience with HTS classification, semiconductors, manufacturing, and importing is required; certification as a customs broker is preferred.

Requirements

• An expert in both foreign and domestic trade practices, logistics, and international law.
• Bachelor's Degree
• 8-10 years' experience in global trade compliance roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the company's compliance with all international laws and regulations regarding global trade requirements.
• Managing a team of compliance officers and trade specialists to determine the best business practices for your company to ensure smooth trade across international borders.
• Reviewing trade and shipping documents, communicating with the manufacturer of the goods, submitting paperwork for trade licenses and sales agreements, and filing appeals.
