Requirements

  • PhD Degree or equivalent in Toxicology or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in the field of consumer product risk assessment or other relevant experience in the field of Toxicology.
  • People leadership and People management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills is a must.
  • Individual with strong interpersonal skills and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with in silico tool and new alternative models.
  • Publication track record in toxicology.
  • Management of studies at CRO.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Toxicology strategy in Skin Health, Essential health or Self-care franchises and manage the ingredient and product review by collaborating with internal & external partners.
  • Be a contributor and a subject matter expert within the safety organization with strong business acumen and an in-depth technical knowledge of consumer healthcare products.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to a dedicated team of toxicologists and experts in toxicological risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of toxicology data into overall new product development pipeline.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest toxicology research and trends to ensure the team is utilizing the most advanced techniques and technologies.
  • Provide toxicology expertise and guidance to senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance for risk assessment support programs, ensuring toxicological and human safety assessments pertaining to occupational, consumer and environmental exposures derived from manufacturing processes and product usage.
  • Be a part of the leadership team within Global Toxicology and other site local and regional cross functional leadership teams.
  • Provide timely communications to internal teams and external agencies in relation to safety issues related to Kenvue marketed products.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in toxicology and regulatory requirements, and provide guidance to the team on emerging trends and best practices.
