About The Position

Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager of GNFR ("Goods Not for Resale") to join our growing Global Procurement team. This role has the ability to work in a hybrid environment, allowing employees to work from home while reporting to the St. Petersburg office a minimum of three days a week, typically on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Global Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing initiatives across various GNFR categories, including Facilities & Maintenance, Corporate Services, Contingent Labor, and Marketing categories. This position requires a strong foundation in financial analysis, particularly in Excel, and a solid understanding of commercial and contractual dynamics with GNFR vendors. In this role, you will be tasked with building and executing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and auctions using SAP Ariba. You will conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, market trends, and best practices, and assess business needs to recommend sourcing approaches and plans. The manager will oversee sourcing activities from requirements gathering to contracting, assist in negotiating contract terms and pricing with potential suppliers, and ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, ethical standards, and supplier diversity requirements. Additionally, you will drive adoption and continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems, including SAP Ariba, and exercise advanced analytical skills when reviewing RFP results and recommending business awards. This position reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing and is part of the larger Foot Locker Global Procurement Center of Excellence. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex procurement projects and delivering meaningful savings for the business, along with strong leadership skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
