About the Department Global Shareholder Services (GSS) at Franklin Templeton delivers high-impact client support by combining innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. The team partners across the industry to provide responsive service to Financial Professionals and Shareholders. How You Will Add Value Core Responsibilities Lead teams to achieve strategic objectives. Drive innovation and process improvement. Oversee service, compliance, and risk. Manage performance, metrics and quality. Collaborate on enterprise initiatives. Build strong partnerships. Oversee hiring, reviews, and succession. Monitor staffing and scheduling trends. Represent the department in strategy. Promote communication and staff development. Provide strategic oversight of technology adoption and integration, ensuring that teams are equipped with the latest tools to drive operational excellence. Support the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, designing and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance team capability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of direct people management, including hiring, conducting reviews, supporting development, and succession planning.
  • Skilled at building strong teams, promoting communication, and maintaining a positive, high-performing work environment.
  • Knowledge of Transfer Agency operations and financial regulations.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and core operational platforms critical to Transfer Agency management.
  • Expertise in diagnosing complex system issues, optimizing workflows across departments, and establishing best practices through the development of robust, organization-wide documentation standards.
  • Experience guiding teams through complex processes, providing hands-on support and practical solutions to keep everyone productive and confident during system changes.
  • Strong communicator and strategic thinker.
