About The Position

The Global Security Manager will manage and support all aspects of transportation and physical security across AIT's global operations. This role will focus on securing AIT's air, ocean, rail, and road transportation networks, enhancing physical security at AIT's global offices and warehouse locations, and safeguarding high-value and targeted-commodity shipments across various business units. The role involves close collaboration with customers during audits and supporting the security design, solution development, and readiness of new & existing AIT customers and global locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • 10+ years experience in global security (Required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerBI
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Deep understanding of security technologies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global transportation security strategies and solutions in line with regulatory requirements (TSA, CTPAT, TAPA, etc.) and best practices for all AIT global offices and warehouse locations
  • Collaborate with vertical leads to define and maintain security standards tailored to high-risk and high-value customer segments (e.g., electronics, luxury goods, etc.)
  • Manage the security planning and execution for High Value (HV) transport services, with a focus on risk mitigation and visibility
  • Monitor, assess, and manage security risks for transport, including first- and last-mile operations
  • Support incident response efforts involving theft, loss, or damage in transit
  • Oversee global physical security programs, including access control systems, CCTV, intrusion detection, and visitor management
  • Conduct site assessments and audits to ensure compliance with AIT policies and local regulations
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and coordinate responses to customer-driven security audits, RFPs, and compliance reviews
  • Partner with service providers and internal stakeholders to enforce AIT's security standards and contractual requirements
  • Implement standard physical security designs for existing and new facilities, warehouses and offices
  • Performs other duties as assigned
