About This Role Textron Systems is seeking an enthusiastic and highly analytical Manager, Global Mobility, to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate thrives on building robust partnerships across various teams, managing impactful projects, and has a keen interest in deployment matters to support field service personnel. As a key player in our organization, you will drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making, representing Textron Systems as an authority on deployment, travel, Field Assignment Instruction (FAI) and differential policies both within the company and according to government regulations.

  • Ensure compliance with all domestic and international government, contractual, and Textron regulations regarding deployment. This includes reviewing and potentially rejecting travel and FAI requests that do not meet guidelines and confirm deployment readiness only for compliant individuals.
  • Provide expert assistance and advice to programs during proposal efforts and perform detailed analysis on deployment packages based on specific needs.
  • Conduct vendor analysis to identify timely and cost-efficient solutions for our Field Service and Program personnel.
  • Continuously audit differentials for compliance with evolving state department guidelines.
  • Safeguard confidential and classified information with utmost integrity.
  • Proven expertise in project management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while fostering team support.
  • Strategic planning, organization, and prioritization skills to meet stringent deployment deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills for effective coordination with both internal stakeholders and external parties, including civilian government personnel and military officials.
  • Comprehensive understanding of government regulations and policies to ensure full deployment compliance.
  • Strong data analysis capabilities.
  • Creative problem-solver with the judgement to propose innovative solutions to meet deployment challenges.
  • A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred for a competitive edge.
  • This role requires handling information subject to ITAR regulations. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.
