About The Position

The Manager, Global Medical Information - Oncology at AbbVie is responsible for providing accurate and timely medical information related to oncology. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, PA, Pharmacy, PhD in Health Sciences, or MD/DO program.
  • 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or 4+ years in a healthcare-related field.
  • Substantial understanding of relevant therapeutic areas and medical information content.
  • Mastery of computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office and Veeva Vault.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in providing innovative solutions for medical information delivery.
  • Drug Information residency preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate development of global content (GC) and summarize literature and clinical guidelines.
  • Review and approve medical content, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Represent AbbVie MI at global and key scientific conferences as required.
  • Evaluate data and maintain an in-depth understanding of product knowledge and associated disease states.
  • Partner with internal colleagues to create relevant core content to meet customer needs.
  • Assist in delivering medical information to customers in innovative ways.
  • Work with cross-functional colleagues to develop the Medical Value proposition for reimbursement communications.
  • Critically evaluate literature and adapt delivery of information to various audiences.
  • Identify global medical information insights and partner with colleagues to address scientific gaps.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of medical information training.
