About The Position

As the Manager of Global Licensed Brands at Disney Theatrical Group, you will oversee the management and development of the international stage play network of retail licensees, aiming to exceed sales goals while ensuring strong brand management across all channels. This role encompasses responsibilities that extend beyond DTG Stage licensees to include ticketed live events with retail components, focusing on assortment reviews, brand updates, and visual merchandising standards. You will also manage the division's wholesale business and operations for both domestic and international customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Licensed Brands and/or Wholesale Management Experience
  • Strong understanding of the retail industry and current market trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in brand management in a consumer product environment
  • Proven track record of managing long-distance licensing partnerships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proven ability to build and develop teams
  • Experience implementing new processes to streamline efficiency
  • Understanding of wholesale logistical processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other system programs

  • Additional languages (especially German, Spanish, Japanese)
  • Experience with inventory, invoicing, and reporting systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with third-party sales leaders at international theatrical stage plays to exceed weekly sales targets.
  • Conduct weekly sales analysis, reviewing top-selling items and demographic impacts to influence business strategies.
  • Evaluate assortments for best and worst sellers and create action plans for business growth.
  • Ensure licensees are stocked with Disney wholesale items and manage re-orders and new product generation.
  • Collaborate with internal product managers to obtain feedback and approvals on new merchandise from licensees.
  • Educate and manage new productions with licensees for proper merchandise rollout and launch needs.
  • Develop sales forecasts for international and domestic wholesale customers and implement sales strategies to exceed goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base while adhering to brand standards.
  • Manage the Assistant Manager of Licensed Brands and ensure effective communication with licensees.
  • Facilitate and approve new product requests through creative review and manage visual merchandising planograms.
