Requirements

  • Previous experience within strategic communications.
  • Previous experience with event planning/management and delivering on project timelines.
  • Strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead for select Global Employee Town Halls, responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of the event.
  • Developing the agenda with key leaders and managing the project team responsible for content development.
  • Partnering closely with Agency123 on all logistics and production.
  • Overseeing the development and execution of the marcomms strategy.
  • Ensuring cross-functional collaboration and alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Act as the communications integrator for the Global Impact function, leading communications efforts supporting key business milestones and priorities.
  • Establishing and maintaining working relationships with Global Impact leaders to align on priorities and develop strategies to amplify these moments.
  • Drive work to amplify Global Impact priority System milestones, including but not limited to the inclusion efforts, security efforts, and sustainability communications.
  • Engage relevant team members across Global Communications and Global Impact to activate amplification strategies supporting key business milestones.
  • Spearhead the McDonald’s employee communications strategy, leveraging insights to continuously enhance message delivery and employee engagement through our multi-year strategy. Partner with teams across Global Communications to execute strategy.
  • Serve as a partner to Storylab on the execution of Global Internal Channel Audit, consulting on key areas of the audit that will inform future Enterprise Communications strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and agency partners to drive process, routines, and engagement for global system activation.
  • Manage agencies in delivery of activations for System audiences.
  • Drive program objectives and timelines by implementing appropriate team engagement plans and work prioritizations.
  • Balancing timelines, budget, and practical realities, while delivering on vision and aspirations.
  • Navigating through ambiguity, while translating strategic direction to tactical execution.
  • Building and leveraging broad corporate, segment, market, and partner networks.
