Manager, Global Information Security

The Manager, Global Information Security Risk is responsible for aligning security processes with business capabilities to effectively manage and mitigate risks within the organization. This role involves reporting on the state of risk, providing visibility to business leaders and risk managers, and helping them understand where risks reside and where improvements are necessary to protect the business. The manager will interact with various stakeholders, including IT, Governance, and Manufacturing, to assess information security risks across all technology platforms and business environments. The goal is to manage risks to acceptable tolerances and ensure that appropriate controls are in place to safeguard SC Johnson (SCJ). In this position, the manager will work collaboratively across SCJ to support current and upcoming products, services, and initiatives, identifying and managing risks to acceptable levels. This includes elevating Security Risk and Compliance Frameworks, developing assessment methodologies, and utilizing inherent and residual risk models to achieve the company's objectives through a pragmatic approach. The role is based onsite in Racine, WI, and requires a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring that security measures are integrated into business processes effectively. Essential duties include leading the creation and implementation of frameworks for comprehensive business and technology risk assessments, driving strategic initiatives to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, and mentoring team members to ensure effective risk management practices. The manager will also consult on active projects regarding business and information security risks, analyze and enforce security controls, perform risk management assessments, and communicate risks to leadership. Additionally, the manager will mentor and coach team members, providing guidance in developing their skills in risk management.
