The Data Center Field Engineering Team is the engineering owner for the lifecycle of AWS data centers. This includes supporting new designs/innovations through data center end-of-life, with a focus on root cause analysis of failures, capacity and availability improvement, and optimization of the existing fleet. We're looking for an experienced Manager, Technical Program Management to join our Field Engineering global programs team dedicated to leading, mentoring, and coaching our team of skilled Technical Program Managers. You will hire & lead a diverse and creative team solving technical problems across our global Amazon Data Centers to scale and improve business practices around the world. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge of data center operations with strong business acumen. You should be comfortable diving deep into technical details while maintaining a clear focus on improving efficiency, availability, and reliability in our data centers. You'll need to effectively influence across organizations to build consensus on complex technical decisions, and drive execution through multiple engineering teams.
