About The Position

We are looking for a Manager FP&A Analytical Accounting in Eden Prairie, MN. Reporting to the Director of Analytical Accounting in Canada, the candidate will play a key role in financial analysis, managing the budgeting process, and interpreting monthly, quarterly, and annual results. As a strategic partner to the Vice President - U.S. Cheese & Ingredients Category, he/she will actively contribute to decision-making and cost optimization. This position also includes managing a team of two people.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis.
University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the manufacturing/food manufacturing field is preferred.
SAP Knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze month-end reports (volumes, market, Opex Vol/Rate/Mix, milk payments and reconciliation).
Present key variances and drivers compared to prior year, budget, and latest estimates (LE).
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making for U.S. Cheese/Global Ingredients categories.
Lead the budgeting process for the U.S.
Align volumes by plant and by product.
Define rate assumptions (plant costs, logistics, materials, market rates).
Present key drivers to the VP - U.S. Cheese & Ingredients Category.
Actively participate in budget consolidation
Participate in the development and implementation of analytical tools, as well as automation, optimization, and harmonization of reports.
