About The Position

Human Touch Home Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Manager to oversee our unskilled home healthcare services division. This role requires a deep understanding of the needs of clients requiring basic home healthcare assistance and the ability to manage a team of caregivers effectively. Requirements

  • Experience in a managerial role within the healthcare industry, preferably in home healthcare or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in home healthcare.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social work, or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications or licenses as required by state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Train and supervise a team of caregivers providing unskilled home healthcare services.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with clients and their families to assess needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Ensure that care plans are implemented effectively and adjusted as necessary based on client requirements.
  • Monitor the quality of care provided by caregivers through regular evaluations and client feedback.
  • Implement improvements and best practices to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines governing home healthcare services.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care, employee schedules, and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist in the development and management of the departmental budget.
  • Monitor expenses, control costs, and optimize resource allocation to achieve financial objectives
  • Facilitate ongoing training and development programs for caregivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among caregivers, clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and emergency situations.
