The position involves trade capture, booking amendments, trade life cycle management, novations/assignments, reconciliation, and control/reporting activities within the business. The role requires managing query remediation and day-to-day processing to ensure timely escalation and minimize risk exposure. The candidate will enable new business solutions and partner to deliver strategic Financial Markets (FM) initiatives, driving operational readiness and collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve a seamless follow-the-sun model. The role serves as the primary point of contact for Operations to Trading and Sales Desks, insulating FM from post-execution processing and representing Operations functions. Building strong relationships with internal teams is essential for facilitating efficient communication and speedy issue resolution, while also driving continuous improvement and innovation in partnership with technology teams.

  • Work with Front Office (FO) to identify booking model improvements and drive efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to Ops Risk Framework standards of implementation and process management.
  • Seek opportunities to improve global consistency and standardize processes.
  • Build strong relationships with Onshore Middle-Office for efficient communication and issue resolution.
  • Be the subject matter expert for Management Information Systems (MIS), cost-per-trade, and touch points per trade.
  • Represent Operations for external/internal and regulator scheduled audits, ensuring audit points are addressed within timelines.
  • Achieve regulatory compliance and future-proof the Middle Office model.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes.
  • Participate in sustainability initiatives and staff engagement programs.
  • University degree or MBA (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Power BI, and VBA Macro.
  • Strong understanding of trade life cycle management and operational processes.
  • Ability to manage query remediation and ensure timely escalation.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and building relationships across teams.
  • Experience in Financial Markets operations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and standards.
