Requirements

  • Proven expertise in automation engineering, project management, process optimization and system integration.
  • Strong operational and financial acumen, including cost optimization and forecasting.
  • Advanced data analytics and visualization skills using Power BI, SAP, and QuickBase.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and actionable plans.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area.
  • Option 2: 4 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic automation initiatives across fleet operations, maintenance, and procurement—from concept to deployment.
  • Develop and implement dashboards and analytics tools (Power BI, SAP, QuickBase) to monitor KPIs and guide decisions across Walmart Transportation.
  • Manage equipment lifecycle management, including lease planning, surplus reduction, and tariff mitigation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Safety, Procurement) and external vendors to align automation goals with operational needs.
  • Guide system transformation projects ensuring alignment with Walmart’s workflows and data architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and internal safety standards through automation and predictive maintenance systems.
