About The Position

Responsible for management and oversite of a full range of Fire Sprinkler Design for industrial, commercial, and residential applications.

Requirements

• NICET III or IV certification required
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Design Manager leading and directing a design team with daily design issues regarding requirements and effectiveness.
• Minimum of 5 years in AutoSprink and experience in pumps, high rise, multi-family, storage facilities, data centers, warehouses.
• Pre-employment drug screen
• Clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Design Team to mentor, train and develop team members.
• Provide technical support to the sales team as needed.
• Provide quality control and direction to produce effective, efficient designs.
• Review progress with the design team for tracking budgets.
• Collaborate with the design team, project managers, and field superintendents to identify scheduling issues, material/data procurement and maintain efficient progress.
• Review material and design specifications for efficient compliance with contract scope.
