Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain robust financial models to forecast future performance across firm strategies Efficiently and accurately model ad hoc business scenarios to drive thoughtful and confident decision making Execute and continuously enhance the Firm’s budgeting, forecasting, and planning process and deliverables Implement and improve FP&A tools, automation, and systems to enhance reporting efficiency and scalability Compile data and develop reports and dashboards to monitor financial performance Perform revenue and expense trend analysis to identify operating efficiency and cost reduction strategies Monitor operating performance and conduct root cause analysis to identify key drivers and highlight trends via executive reporting Prepare accurate, executive-ready financial materials and presentations for Senior Management Partner with internal teams to gather input, align planning efforts, and support initiatives Independently manage workstreams end-to-end, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery of all financial outputs Conduct industry and peer benchmarking to enhance business insights Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CFA or CPA a plus 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment management; experience within alternative asset management environment a plus Advanced financial modeling capabilities, with the ability to translate complex business drivers into actionable insights Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or other data tools strongly preferred Experience with ERP systems (Workday preferred) Demonstrated ability to bring structure and clarity to complex or ambiguous business questions Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Results oriented, strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with strong verbal and written communication skills Firm Overview: H.I.G.
