Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis | Full Time | Dayshift
About The Position
Serves as the principal financial leader for the Operations departments at UF Health Shands Hospital. Provides comprehensive administrative, financial, operational, and analytical support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Vice President of Operations, and respective operational divisions. Directly supports program growth initiatives that drive the financial and operational success of UF Health Shands Hospital. Works independently and creatively on special projects as assigned. Key responsibilities include strategic planning and data analysis; development of business plans as needed; project return on investment (ROI) analysis; and support of the position control process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline required; Master’s degree in Business or Health Care Administration preferred
- Five or more years of progressive healthcare financial management experience required
- Experience in a large hospital system or academic medical center preferred
- Strong expertise in healthcare financial analysis, modeling, and operational support
- Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for senior leaders
- Proven knowledge of hospital operations, budgeting, capital planning, and labor productivity management
- Motor Vehicle Operator Designation required (refer to CP 1.51)

- Master’s degree in Business or Health Care Administration preferred
