About The Position

Grant Thornton is building a world‑class Finance & Accounting organization to support a more complex, global business. As an FP&A Manager, you will play a central role in enterprise financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and strategic decision support. You will partner closely with senior leadership across Service Lines, Regions, Corporate Functions, and the Global F&A organization. This is a high‑visibility role that blends analytical rigor, business partnership, and process ownership.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of Finance experience (FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, or similar).
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to present financial insights to senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Highly detail‑oriented with strong business judgment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure where needed.
  • Embodies GT’s CLEARR values and commitment to excellence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in professional services, multi‑entity/global environments, or PE‑backed organizations.
  • Familiarity with ERP, BI/reporting tools, or data governance concepts.
  • Experience supporting cross‑functional initiatives, integrations, or transformation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead portions of the annual budget process, including consolidation of Service Line and regional submissions.
  • Support development of top‑down guidance and planning assumptions for firmwide budgeting.
  • Own monthly and quarterly forecast processes, including variance analysis and risk/opportunity assessments.
  • Prepare management reporting packages for CFO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board committees.
  • Serve as a finance partner to Service Line leaders, ICS functions, and regional finance teams.
  • Deliver insights on performance drivers related to pricing, utilization, margin, OpEx, client/product mix, and growth initiatives.
  • Support PPMDs on engagement profitability, WIP management, and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Provide financial input into corporate initiatives including M&A integration, value creation, and strategic investments.
  • Maintain and enhance financial models used for planning, forecasting, KPI tracking, and scenario analysis.
  • Drive standardization of FP&A processes, templates, and business rules across the enterprise.
  • Partner with IT and Data teams to improve data architecture, governance, reporting tools, and automation.
  • Conduct ROI analysis for key internal investments and track post‑investment performance.
  • Support monthly close analytics and collaborate closely with the Controllership team.
  • Produce recurring dashboards and enterprise reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tighten governance, and enhance financial transparency across regions.

  • Grant Thornton employees may be eligible for a discretionary, annual bonus based on individual and firm performance, subject to the terms, conditions and eligibility criteria of the applicable bonus plan or program. Interns and seasonal employees are not eligible for bonus compensation.
