About The Position

The Financial Analyst role at Amcor Rigid Packaging is a key position responsible for managing financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting processes. This role supports the Director of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting and plays a crucial part in aligning financial plans with strategic objectives while driving improvements in financial processes and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance required, Master's Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of increased responsibility within FP&A function, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience working in large, complex and multi-currency / multi-national environment.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the packaging industry or related sectors.
• Familiarity with financial consolidation systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the financial analysis, forecast, operating plan, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Lead the monthly management reporting process, including variance analysis of data submissions from ARP Business Units and loading of forecast data into applicable consolidation systems.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, analytical reviews, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
• Support processes for establishing, measuring, and delivering upon ARP BG level financial objectives.
