About The Position

Connor Group is hiring remote professionals for this position, with the obligation to work onsite at a client location when required. Additionally, professionals may utilize our offices across the U.S. if one is available in your area and your personal situation warrants it. We execute finance projects that add value to our clients within their finance, accounting, and operations departments. From complex accounting and financial reporting issues to improving processes and controls by way of optimization and/or automation, joining Connor Group will help you exponentially to further develop your career and expand your experience base. Our team of highly experienced professionals assists financial executives with their most critical business needs, by way of providing Accounting Advisory, Financial Operations, IPO, M&A, and Operational Accounting services.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of key business and finance processes (close process, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, equity, etc.)
  • Experience in helping companies identify improvements in key process areas and in assisting with implementing those improvements
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing teams and projects
  • Business consulting experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Exposure to financial systems and tools beneficial (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, BlackLine, Zuora, Coupa, Hyperion, Business Intelligence Databases)
  • Minimum 5 -7 years consulting/industry experience required
  • A willingness to travel (About 10%)

  • CPA and or MBA beneficial
  • Six Sigma Green or Blackbelt beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete assigned project areas, creating high quality deliverables, including providing appropriate direction and supervision to junior team members
  • Prepare project plans, including key milestones and deliverables, and track and report on status, progress and risks
  • Participate in and facilitate engagement team and client meetings and presentations
  • Lead and train junior team members
  • Prepare and monitor budgets and client billings
  • Develop specialized expertise in multiple areas, solutions, and/or technology tools
