About the position

The Manager Utility Financial Analytics will be responsible for enhancing and/or developing processes and reporting for the organization's utility budget, including budget development, forecasting and variance analysis. This role requires an individual who can effectively manage and analyze large datasets to drive strategic decision-making and optimize energy efficiency. The successful candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the utility sector.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for enterprise-wide reporting of 7-Eleven's utility budget
  • Ensure utility accruals are accurate and reflective of material billing changes
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and report on cost, usage and rate variances at zone level
  • Analyze complex energy data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate data findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Design and implement analytical tools and dashboards to streamline data analysis processes
  • Oversee the collection, storage, and management of utility data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Develop internal tracking and forecasting tools to support 7-Eleven's GHG reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
