About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager of Finance provides day-to-day leadership for the Finance team. Influences and supports driving business performance within OSF operating units. Partners with various levels of leadership in driving successful finanacial performance. Leverages financial planning & analysis, health analytics, and other resources in support of achieving enity and regional performance targets.
Requirements
- Bachelors Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field
- 5 years of work experience in healthcare business administration, hospital operations, or finance and accounting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Master's level coursework
- Experience with finance in an integrated healthcare environment including medical group operations
- Knowledge of: performance improvement methodologies, provider compensation incentive metrics including value based, benchmarking or financial planning.
- CPA, CMA, CHFP, or PMP certification
- Experience with database and decision support systems
- Understanding of industry, trends, issues, and risk
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in finance in an integrated business environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to present information in front Executives, Directors, and Managers
- Advanced computer skills with strong knowledge of spreadsheet programs
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills to gather, manipulate and interpret large amounts of data and transform into useable information to address operational needs
