The Finance team at KABC-TV is responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support the station’s strategic and operational goals while ensuring financial integrity and driving business success. Reporting to the VP of Operations and Business Planning, the Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in financial planning and reporting processes, including Long Range Planning, Annual Operating Plan, periodic forecasts, and compliance. This role translates strategic objectives into actionable financial plans, delivers comprehensive reporting, drives operational efficiencies, and monitors station expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals. As a key contributor to station-wide initiatives, the Finance Manager partners closely with leadership to execute the station’s business vision. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, adheres to established policies and procedures, and knows when to escalate issues appropriately. This position requires technical expertise in financial systems and practices, along with a deep understanding of organizational objectives and interdepartmental priorities.
