About the team: The Sam’s Club Operations Finance team transforms finance strategy into measurable value by enhancing profitability, reducing risk, and improving efficiency. The team translates fiscal year goals into actionable plans through rigorous analysis and close collaboration with business owners and other finance partners. Central to transformation initiatives, the team develops and scales programs by defining scope, quantifying value, and building business cases. Combining strategic rigor with hands-on execution, the team embeds analytics into regular workflows, enabling leaders to make informed decisions. What you'll do: This role supports Sam's Transformation and Asset Protection Organizations and you will: Provide strategic input to financial planning through analysis, modeling, and recommending expense targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop forecasts, analyze business performance and communicate significant variances. Develop financial models and presentations to support business decisions and communicate forecasts to senior management. Support budgeting processes by identifying gaps between business goals and corporate objectives. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to align plans and initiatives with business needs. Own sizing of transformation initiatives so leadership could prioritize initiatives Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and standards while promoting continuous improvement.
