The primary purpose of this position is to lead all aspects of assigned department, i.e. Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (Resale or Not for Resale), Retail/DC Ops and ensuring maximization of working capital and accuracy, timeliness and effective control of all responsible financial transactions, focused on reporting and close processes, AP/AR processing (Resale and/or Non-Resale), warehouse, direct store distribution, and/or Cash Sales Audit/3rd Party Audit. This position directs and leads the department to ensure proper application of internal controls associated with area of responsibility. This position is responsible for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of procedures and controls for assigned department in accordance with established service level agreements, company, industry, and accounting policy guidelines. The leader is responsible for overseeing the retained team following 2 legacy processes as well as the third-party provider. The purpose of the department is to ensure assigned processes are well controlled, as well as the streamlining, standardization of process across inconsistent legacy processes in a complex environment.
