On a given day, you may: Leads, Schedules, and Coordinates activities of Field Service Technicians engaged in the installation, repair, and servicing of equipment and machinery in field installations. Guides new and existing team members on effective techniques and tools. Perform machine audits, repairs, and preventative scheduled maintenance on seamers. Install, commission, and set up new seamers in customer facilities. Complete skill level assessment for Technicians. Coach, train, and mentor service team members. Including the completing of annual performance reviews. Leads and assists in hiring/onboarding new Seamer Field Service Technicians. Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts and reassemble machines. Perform all duties in accordance with safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safety-focused work mentality. Troubleshoot and repair machinery mechanically (hydraulic/pneumatic) and electronically. Identify and articulate root cause problem statements while troubleshooting. Complete service reports timely. Follow good assembly practices while performing job duties. Review and approve service reports and recommended parts requirements for customer requests and service. Communicate with Customers on Service requests, issues, and Technician interactions.
