About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Finance Manager to join our Field Finance team at H&R Block. This role is highly collaborative and project-driven, requiring a strong financial acumen and the ability to lead a team of analysts. The Field Finance Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, managing budgeting processes, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that drive business decisions. This individual will play a key role in identifying efficiencies, challenging assumptions, and supporting the financial planning and forecasting efforts across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
• 6+ years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis or corporate finance
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
• Experience managing budgets and partnering with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting and strategic planning
• Lead valuation modeling and business case development for key initiatives
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and present findings to senior stakeholders
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and performance drivers
• Partner with business leaders to set budgets, monitor spend, and assess variances
• Manage and improve financial processes and reporting standards
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and best practices
• Oversee project timelines and ensure deliverables are met
• Coach and develop a team of financial analysts, conducting performance reviews and supporting career growth
• Support ad hoc projects and executive-level requests as needed
