About The Position

Ensures order fulfillment for all equipment orders for Direct customer orders in a standalone configuration center warehouse location. Establishes performance standards and monitors the performance of all personnel involved in the configuration center (CC) and delivery operations. Schedules the order flow and volume of orders released through the configuration process to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. Responsible for all inventory released to the configuration center operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • 5 years of warehouse experience required.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and ERP platform environments required; Oracle and Descartes scheduling/routing system experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office or equivalent software.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Strong motivational and team‑building capabilities.
  • Solid analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 2‑year or 4‑year degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience with warehouse management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and overseeing all functions within the configuration center warehouse.
  • Plans and manages all activities to ensure work is completed to meet operational goals.
  • Ensures warehouse personnel are properly trained in all tasks and duties.
  • Participates in the budget process and maintains responsibility for achieving and maintaining P&L cost control.
  • Develops and supports work-related cost control, productivity, and quality standards for assigned functional areas.
  • Ensures all OSHA, C-TPAT, company safety and security standards, and LEAN initiatives are adhered to.
  • Effectively recruits, interviews, and selects staff.
  • Ensures employees are properly trained; completes employee performance reviews and initiates corrective or disciplinary action as required.
  • Approves employee timesheets and reviews/approves time-off requests to ensure proper task coverage.
  • Identifies and supports the development of employee skills for advancement opportunities.
  • Communicates and supports internal and external customers as required.
  • Manages suppliers and carriers to ensure adequate operational support.
  • Maintains inventory integrity, including performing regular cycle counts.
  • Possesses administrative skills necessary to ensure all paperwork is controlled and properly processed.
  • Is proficient in all systems or equipment needed for job duties, including PCs, scanners, manifest systems, scheduling/routing systems, and WMS.
  • Demonstrates system and process troubleshooting skills to identify, communicate, and resolve issues.
  • Maintains awareness and focus on continuous process and quality improvement.
  • Demonstrates organizational knowledge of size, scope, and departmental interactions within the configuration center.
  • Provides assistance to other functional areas as needed.
  • May be involved in physically performing work as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
