About The Position

The Manager of Facility and Engineering Services performs many diverse duties including managing Life Safety and Environment of Care. Manage a team of 11+ employees. Plan, organize, supervise, coordinate, and control the activities of the plant operations and maintenance functions which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities, and grounds in an operative and safe working condition. The leader is accountable for maintaining an effective department, for administering labor and material controls, for training maintenance personnel in safety and for effective management practices. Coordinate quality customer service activities, purchasing, payroll, and budgeting processes. Participate in the work activities of assigned teams through providing assistance, serving as the technical resource and participating in the work as a member of the team. Responsible for coordinating the delivery of high-quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectations. An individual who has experience in facility service maintenance in a hospital is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Four years of Facility Maintenance required
  • Candidate must have a Driver's License - Certification - Other/National

Nice To Haves

  • Facility Maintenance in a Hospital is highly preferred
  • Supervisory skills are highly preferred
  • Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM)
