About The Position

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of all company properties, facilities, and equipment. This role ensures a safe, functional, and comfortable working environment for all employees and visitors while optimizing space utilization and minimizing operating costs.

Requirements

  • MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN FACILITIES MAINTENANCE, PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, OR A RELEVANT SUPERVISORY/LEAD ROLE
  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED

Nice To Haves

  • VOCATIONAL/TECHNICAL CERTIFICATION OR ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE PREFERRED
  • Professional certification such as Facilities Management Professional (FMP) or relevant trade certifications.
  • OSHA Certification

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all building maintenance activities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and equipment.
  • Oversee regular inspections of the facility to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
  • Manage the execution of repairs, renovations, and new projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and safety standards.
  • Ensure facilities operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards and building codes.
  • Develop and manage emergency preparedness plans, including fire safety, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Oversee facility security systems and protocols, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
  • Manage office layouts, seating arrangements, and departmental moves to optimize space utilization and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with department heads on facility needs related to growth or changes in operations.
  • Manage contracts with external vendors, contractors, and service providers (e.g., cleaning, security, landscaping, waste management).
  • Work through the purchase order (PO) system for facility-related expenses, ensuring proper authorization and coding.
  • Assist with ordering consumables (e.g., janitorial supplies, office supplies) and equipment necessary for various company programs and general facility operations.
