About The Position

Reporting to the Executive Director, Facilities Management. The Manager, Facilities will be responsible for Facilities Operations, Plant Operations, Grounds at CHOC Orange with oversight of enterprise-wide clinic facilities. Ensuring infrastructure is fully operational to support and coordinate minor improvements, repairs, and maintenance in both hospital and off-site locations. Manager, Facilities is directly responsible for compliance with all regulatory agencies having jurisdiction as it relates to TJC, CMS, OSHA. Provides project management, consultative, analytical and research services to internal and external hospital stakeholders. Provides strategic planning associated to capital improvements/forecasting.

Requirements

  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience Facilities Management support position within a healthcare setting.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated strength in building and articulating a vision and setting goals.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills to understand and anticipate the impact and opportunities across multiple critical projects.
  • Ability to build and establish positive relationships with stakeholders and staff at all levels.
  • Experience managing multiple projects while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
  • Experience presenting findings / recommendations to Executive level audiences.
  • Intermediate or advanced computer, spreadsheet, and database skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) or more years in a Facilities Leadership support position.
  • Five (5) years of experience managing Plant Operations within the healthcare industry.
  • Master of Health Administration or Master of Business Administration.
