About The Position

This role will support the Facility Services Program Management and Execution team for Walmart stores in the US and Puerto Rico, focusing on the Structure team. The selected candidate will lead program management, innovation, capital and operational execution, and project management for the Exterior Paint and Structure programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 2 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related area OR 4 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related area.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically.
  • Analytical and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Effective communication skills with excellent follow-up skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Building controls or related area experience.
  • External work experience supervising maintenance personnel in an optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the program management and project execution of the exterior structure trades.
  • Develops innovative technology to create long-term business impact.
  • Manages program initiatives and projects by developing and communicating project plans and schedules to teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to develop and deliver recommended solutions following sound project methodology.
  • Monitors budgets and costs for projects, identifying and communicating status and adjustments to project milestones.
  • Coordinates job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Evaluates the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives to ensure business needs are met.
  • Assists in financial planning processes by researching and analyzing historical data for budget projections.
  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
